Striker Edin Dzeko and midfielder Roberto Gagliardini are likely to leave Inter at the end of the current season.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the pair will likely depart on free transfers when their current contracts expire.

Dzeko and Gagliardini both see their current Nerazzurri deals run out at the end of June 2023.

The club are considering what to do with both of the two players, but in all likelihood they will not be offered new deals next summer.

A number of players are already seeing their contracts expire at the end of the current campaign, including several players over the age of thirty.

Dzeko will turn 37 during the season, and while the Bosnian remains a fairly important player in the squad for the time being, it is relatively unlikely that he will be seen as a player for the future.

Meanwhile, Gagliardini has had an increasingly marginal role in the Nerazzurri’s team, and will likely be allowed to leave on a free transfer.
