Inter will make their contract extension offer to defender Milan Skriniar after the team’s Champions League clash with Viktoria Plzen next week.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Slovakian will be offered a new deal worth €6.5 million net per season.

Inter have yet to formally begin contract extension talks with Skriniar and his representatives.

Trying to reach an agreement with the 27-year-old on a new deal is a priority for the Nerazzurri given that his current contract is set to run out at the end of June 2023.

Accordingly, it should not be long at all before contract talks begin.

The start of talks has been postponed on a couple of occasions based on the team’s form on the pitch and other priorities.

Next Wednesday’s clash with Viktoria Plzen could see Inter advance to the knockout rounds of the Champions League, which could play a factor in talks with Skriniar.
