Inter striker Romelu Lukaku is back in full training with the rest of the squad, and is hoping to be ready to start in next week’s Champions League clash with Viktoria Plzen.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 29-year-old hopes to be ready for the bench against Fiorentina this weekend and then start against Plzen.

Lukaku has finally made a full recovery from the thigh injury that has kept him out for more than a month and a half.

The Belgian was deemed by the club’s medical staff to be ready to return to training based on tests he underwent yesterday.]

Now, Lukaku will train normally with the rest of the squad, aiming to get back to full fitness so he can return to the pitch.

Against Fiorentina on Saturday, Lukaku could make his return as a substitute, whilst his aim is to start against Viktoria next Wednesday.
