Ex-Nerazzurri defender Fabio Galante believes that Inter Milan are favourites in their Serie A game against Fiorentina on Saturday at 20:45 CET.
Former Inter defender Fabio Galante believes that the Nerazzurri are favourites in their upcoming Serie A game against Fiorentina but that the Viola wont be any pushovers.
“Will I be at the game? I am trying to organize a way to go to Florence because I have memories of the stadium being full for Fiorentina-Inter,” said the defender in in an interview with Radio FirenzeViola.
“It is clear that Inter are the favourites,” continued the defender.
However, the former Livorno defender pointed out that the Viola are always a difficult team to play against.
“It will be a difficult game for both teams. Fiorentina are always a difficult team to play against,” concluded Galante.
Fabio Galante made 88 appearances for the Nerazzurri from 1996-1999 and scored 3 goals for the club.
Galante then moved on to play for Torino from 1999-2004, where he made 135 appearances and scored 6 goals.
The defender went on to have a successful career with Livorno, where he made 161 appearances from 2004-2010 and the majority of them in Serie A playing alongside striker Cristiano Lucarelli.
He also scored 6 goals and contributed one assist for the Amaranto.
Inter face off against Fiorentina on Saturday before their midweek UEFA Champions League game against Viktoria Plzen at the San Siro on Wednesday.
