Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi isn’t yet sure of whether he’ll prefer to start midfielder Kristjan Asllani against Fiorentina or Viktoria Plzen.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Albanian is one of the coach’s numerous selection doubts ahead of this weekend’s Serie A clash and also the Plzen match on Wednesday.

Asllani has a good chance of starting one of the Nerazzurri’s next two matches, although it is not yet clear which.

Hakan Calhanoglu has played in the regista role in place of the injured Marcelo Brozovic in Inter’s past few matches, and has done well in the position, but Asllani should also be given a chance soon.

Meanwhile, both Robin Gosens and Matteo Darmian could start against Fiorentina rather than Federico Dimarco and Denzel Dumfries respectively.

Lastly, the Gazzetta report that midfielder Roberto Gagliardini should be back fit after missing Sunday’s Serie A clash with Salernitana through injury.
