Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini will be fit enough to be in the squad for this weekend’s Serie A clash with Fiorentina after missing the match against Salernitana through injury.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the slight knock that ruled the 28-year-old out of facing Salernitana has been dispensed with.

Gagliardini was not able to be part of the squad to face Salernitana last Sunday due to a slight lower back problem.

However, the former Atalanta midfielder has been back in training, alternating between individual work and training fully with the rest of the squad.

The 28-year-old will be available to be called up to the squad for the Nerazzurri’s trip to Tuscany to face La Viola on Saturday.

It is, however, not all that likely that Gagliardini will start the match, with the form of Nicolo Barella, Hakan Calhanoglu, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and also the possibility that Kristjan Asllani could start.
