Inter striker Romelu Lukaku returned to full training with the rest of the squad in today’s sessions.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 29-year-old trained normally with the rest of the squad during today’s training session, and that coach Simone Inzaghi will decide whether he is ready for Saturday’s Serie A clash with Fiorentina.

Lukaku had been pushing to make a return to training, with the thigh injury that has kept him off the pitch for the past month and change no longer affecting him.

Today, the Belgian was finally able to complete a full training session after several weeks of working on an individual recovery program.

There were no issues with Lukaku in training, and so the sense is that he should soon be fully fit to return to the pitch.

It will be up to Inzaghi whether to use Lukaku off the bench, from the start, or to still delay his return when the team travel to Tuscany to face La Viola on Saturday.
