Former Inter defender Daniele Adani is expecting that Inter will come into Saturday’s Serie A clash with Fiorentina with an intense mindset.
Speaking to Italian broadcaster Radio Bruno, Adani gave his predictions for the weekend’s match, predicting that La Viola will need to have a solid defensive match if they’re to have any hope of a result.
Inter have now won two matches on the bounce in Serie A, in addition to their heroics to take four points off of Barcelona in the Champions League.
Now, the Nerazzurri are in search of a third successive win in the league as they look to climb their way back up the table.
Playing away in Tuscany will not be easy for the Nerazzurri, as Vincenzo Italiano’s team have proven that they can give any opponent a difficult match.
However, Adani is predicting that the Nerazzurri’s motivation and intensity can become a factor.
“Inter will be very fired up, I expect a great match from them.” he said.
“Fiorentina will have to play very well if they want any hope of getting a result.”
Adani added that “Italiano’s team like to play with a lot of the ball, so they’ll have to cover spaces defensively very well against a strong Inter team.”
