Francesco Acerbi is set to start for Inter in tomorrow evening’s Serie A clash with Inter.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that Alessandro Bastoni is not feeling well enough to start the match due to suffering from flu, and so Acerbi will be the man to take his place on the left of the defense.
Bastoni had looked likely to start tomorrow’s match, with either Acerbi or Stefan de Vrij in the middle of a back three and Milan Skriniar on the right.
However, the 23-year-old looks to have gotten a flu-like illness which has meant that he will not be able to start against La Viola.
Therefore, it looks likely that Acerbi will start on the left of the back three, whilst de Vrij will take up his customary position in the middle.
