Inter captain Samir Handanovic will be included in the team’s squad to face Fiorentina, despite a continuing finger injury.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Slovenian is dealing with some issues in his finger, but that he should be ready to at least make the bench.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi had already mentioned that a hand injury had caused Handanovic some problems over the last couple weeks, which is part of the reason why he had dropped to the bench for Andre Onana in the Nerazzurri’s past couple Serie A matches.

As with in matches against Sassuolo and Salernitana, Onana is also set to start in goal against Fiorentina tomorrow.

However, also as with those matches, Handanovic should still be on the bench.

The 37-year-old will not be kept from supporting the team in the locker room and on the bench by his finger injury.
