Inter midfielder Kristjan Asllani had been hoping for more playing time this season, but has no intention to leave in the January transfer window.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 20-year-old intends to stay at Inter despite some interest from Serie A clubs Empoli, Spezia, and Torino in loaning him.

Asllani has not featured prominently this season so far, with only one start in all competitions against Roma at the start of this month.

The Albanian had been signed as cover for Marcelo Brozovic, but even with the Croat out injured since the September international break, Hakan Calhanoglu has largely been preferred in the regista role.

This has been a source of disappointment for Asllani, but nevertheless he has no desire to leave Inter on loan during the January window.

For their part, the club would have absolutely no intention of sending Asllani out on loan in January, and they continue to have full faith in the Albanian.

Among the clubs interested in Asllani’s signature would be Empoli, who would gladly take him back on loan, with the player having onyl moved to Inter from the Tuscans from Inter this summer.

Meanwhile, there is also interest from Spezia and tentatively from Torino, according to FCInterNews.
