Inter striker Romelu Lukaku won’t be included in the squad to face Fiorentina tomorrow, but is certain to be ready to play against Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 29-year-old won’t be included in the squad for tomorrow’s clash with La Viola but will instead be given more time to train.

Lukaku is back in full training, but the former Manchester United and Everton striker would not be ready to make a start against Fiorentina tomorrow one way or another.

Accordingly, the feeling is that making the away trip to Tuscany for that match with the team would hardly benefit him.

Instead, the priority is to give Lukaku as much time on the training pitch as possible now that he is able to train so that he can get match-fit.

The Belgian will not be available for a cameo appearance tomorrow, but the sense is that with maximum training time, he should be ready for Wednesday’s clash with Plzen.
