Antonio Cassano believes that former club Inter should expect a difficult evening when they face Fiorentina in Serie A later today.

The Nerazzurri travel to the Stadio Artemio Franchi in search of a third successive league win, whilst their opponents have the second worst attack in the Italian top flight.

Despite this, former striker Cassano argued on Christian Vieri’s Bobo TV Twitch stream that recent victories over Barcelona and Salernitana masked issues for Inter, and that Fiorentina’s attack couldn’t be underestimated, as reported by FCInter1908.it.

“I don’t see this as an easy game for Inter, they played two great games against Salernitana and Barcelona, but that’s all,” the ex-Roma and Real Madrid forward claimed.

“Before that they were playing badly and were in difficulty, and won the Barcelona game with luck.

“Inter can win but they will face trouble, Fiorentina have problems in attack but I can’t see that they will continue to be unable to score.”

Cassano warned that the home support could make the difference and push Fiorentina on, whilst reminding Inter to avoid complacency.

“These kinds of matches can light up the city in Florence, and if Inter win they will do so after being made to work for it.

“They will suffer tremendously and cannot take it for granted,” he added.

Cassano joined Inter from AC Milan in 2012 and spent a single season with the Nerazzurri, netting nine goals in 39 appearances.
