Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has urged his side to show more aggression when they face Fiorentina in Serie A this evening.

The Nerazzurri travel to the Stadio Artemio Franchi looking to record a third consecutive league win, and the coach insisted that he was looking for greater impetus from Inter’s away games.

Speaking to Italian television broadcaster Sky Sport Italia before kick-off, as reported by FCInterNews.it, Inzaghi warned that Inter could not take Fiorentina for granted and that they would be facing a tough opponent.

“We know that we are in a difficult stadium against good opponents, but we will try to do our best,” the former Lazio tactician declared.

“We have to increase our aggression.

“At the San Siro everything is easier, but we have already shown that we know how to play our game like we did against Sassuolo or Barcelona.”

Inzaghi has opted to pair Lautaro Martinez with fellow Argentine forward Joaquin Correa, rather than Edin Dzeko, and the coach spoke of his happiness at having a wide range of options to pick from across the season.

“I’m expecting a performance from everyone,” Inzaghi claimed.

“We have a valuable team, with people ready to take over and give us a hand, now we will also have players available and this is good for a coach,” he concluded.

Inter can move into fifth place with a victory over the Viola, as they look to close the gap in the Scudetto race.
