Inter striker Edin Dzeko has revealed that the Nerazzurri squad have cleared the air in the dressing room in order to regain their form, ahead of tonight’s Serie A match against Fiorentina.

Simone Inzaghi’s side had endured a poor run of results prior to victories over Sassuolo and Salernitana, and are looking to make it three wins in a row when they take on the Viola at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

Speaking to Italian television broadcaster DAZN, and as reported by FCInterNews.it, Bosnia striker Dzeko insisted that it was healthy for the team to have difficult conversations, and that these were useful to get back on track.

“Team meetings are useful, sometimes you need things to be said face to face,” the ex-Manchester City striker declared.

“We are doing well but we haven’t done anything yet, the season is long and we must focus game by game.

“Tonight’s match is the most important thing,” the 36-year-old added.

Dzeko has not been included in Simone Inzaghi’s starting line-up for the clash against Fiorentina, with Joaquin Correa partnering Lautaro Martinez in attack instead.

The 2021 arrival from Roma has scored four times from 14 appearances in all competitions for Inter this season.
