Former Nerazzurri goalkeeper Sebastien Frey believes that Inter will be in the Scudetto race and that striker Edin Dzeko will decisive because of his absence from the FIFA World Cup in November.
Ex-Inter and Fiorentina goalkeeper Sebastien Frey considers Inter to be a challenger for the Serie A title, according to his interview with FCInter1908.it.
“After a shaky start, Inter have cemented themselves a Serie A title contender and a potential protagonist in the UEFA Champions League. The two games against Barcelona helped to bring the team together and there is the knowledge that Inter is a strong team,” said Frey.
“[Inter] have an extra weapon in Edin Dzeko because he won’t play in the World Cup, which is a competition have can create injuries. As Dezko doesn’t have to play, he can be decisive in the Serie A title race in the second half of the season. He showed that decisiveness yesterday,” concluded the former Inter goalkeeper.
