“It was an important and needed victory against Fiorentina. The squad believed until the end and I am happy about the reaction in a difficult stadium,” said the manager.
Simone Inzaghi is currently leading Inter on 5 game unbeaten streak in all competitions after beating Barcelona at the San Siro, then drawing the Blaugrana 3-3 at the Camp Nou and 3 straight victories in Serie A against Sassuolo, Salernitana, and Fiorentina.
Prior to this unbeaten streak, the Nerazzurri lost 3 of 5 games in Serie A against AC Milan, Udinese and AS Roma
Inter are set to face off against Viktoria Plzen on Wednesday at the San Siro in the UEFA Champions League at 18:45 CET where a win will secure the Nerazzurri a place in the Round of 16.
