Italian media report that Inter are refusing to apologize to Fiorentina President Rocco Commisso following their 4-3 win over the Viola at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on Saturday.

Fiorentina President Rocco Commisso is waiting in vain for an apology from the Nerazzurri, accoridng to a report in today’s print edition of Milan-based daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews.

The report continues that information was leaked out that the Viola directors were banging on the doors to the Inter locker following their 4-3 win at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on Saturday.

However, the report argues that this information was refuted by Fiorentina and the matter is now considered to be closed.

The Gazzetta dello Sport reports that a feeling of bitterness remains after the reported insults made on Saturday following the final whistle of Fiorentina-Inter.

The Nerazzurri intend to move on quickly to focus on their midweek game in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday at the San Siro at 18:45 CET.
