Italian media report that Inter striker Romelu Lukaku is set to be called up for the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday against Viktoria Plzen. 

According to a report from Sportmediaset, Romelu Lukaku could return to the squad for Inter Milan’s midweek game in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday at 18:45 CET against Viktoria Plzen.

The report continues that the Belgian international striker will be called up after successfully resuming full training with his teammates that did not travel to Florence in yesterday’s 4-3 win in the Serie A.

Sportmediaset also reports that Inter is set to start Lautaro Martinez alongside striker Edin Dzeko for Wednesday’s game in the UEFA Champions League against Viktoria Plzen.

According to the report, Romelu Lukaku is set to start on the bench and that it is possible that the Belgian striker may come on as a substitute if Inter are in need of a goal against the Czech side.
