Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla is reporting that Valencia defender Mouctar Diakhaby is not in Inter’s transfer market plans.

Italian transfer market journalist Alfredo Pedulla denies previous reports that Mouctar Diakhaby formed part of Inter Sporting Director Piero Ausilio’s transfer market plans.

“Ausilio is moving around, but it was not to see Sevilla-Valencia for Diakhaby, as the player does not make [Inter’s transfer market] plans,” the Italian transfer market expert writes in today’s print edition of Milan based Gazzetta dello Sport as reported via FCInter1908.it.

According to FCInter1908.it, the Guinean defender picked up a left thigh injury in Valencia’s La Liga against Mallorca yesterday. In the same report, it was stated that Inter sent a scout to watch the player in person in his game against Sevilla.

The former Olympique Lyon player only played four minutes before he was substituted, while holding his left thigh as he was heading off the pitch.

The Guinean international started his professional career with French side Olympique Lyon before moving to Valencia in a transfer worth €15 million in July 2018.

Mouctar Diakhaby has made 9 appearances and scored 2 goals so far this season in La Liga before suffering an injury against Mallorca on Saturday.
