Italian media named Inter striker Lautaro Martinez as the best player by far in Saturday’s Serie A clash between Fiorentina and Inter at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
The Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport lauded the performance from Inter striker Lautaro Martinez during the Nerazzurri 4-3 away win at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on Saturday.
“[Lautaro Martinez] was the best by far,” said Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.
The Turin-based newspaper gave the Inter striker an 8, who ranked higher than the Nerazzurri midfielder Nicolo Barella, who only received a 7.5.
The report continued their player ratings with the three Inter defenders receiving each a 5.5.
Tuttosport believed that Mkhitaryan outperformed Calhanoglu with a 7 compared to the Turk’s player rating of 6.5.
The newspaper was kind to Joaquin Correa, as they thought his performance was sufficient and they also gave Dzeko a player rating of 7.
Tuttosport saved their harshest criticism for Inter Milan defender Federico Dimarco who only was given a 5.5 after his challange on Fiorentina midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura concede a penalty kick.
