Italian newspaper Gazzetto dello Sport praised Lautaro Martinez and Nicolo Barella for their performance in Inter’s 4-3 win against Fiorentina in Serie A yesterday.
According to their player ratings, the newspaper gave the Argentinean striker an 8 because of his 2 goals and one assist. He also won the penalty kick and worked hard for his team.
Gazzetta dello Sport considered Inter midfielder Nicolo Barella to be the second best on the field with a rating fo 7.5, followed by Hakan Calhanoglu, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Edin Dzeko, who was decisive when he came on as a substitute.
Onana, Skriniar, Darmian and Gosens were also given a ratings of 6.5 because of sufficient performance against the Viola.
The Italian newspaper criticized De Vrij, Acerbi and Dumfries with a rating of 5.5 for being poor.
However, their most poignant criticism was reserved for Correa, with a rating of 5, and Dimarco with a rating of 4.5.
The Italian newspaper concluded with a rating of 5.5 for manager Simone Inzaghi because the result doesn’t cancel out his errors from the bench.
