Inter striker Edin Dzeko is likely to depart at the end of the current season when his contract runs out.

This according to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, who report that there are currently no indications of the Bosnian being offered a new deal past the end of the campaign.

Dzeko’s current contract is set to expire at the end of June 2023.

It is not entirely a foregone conclusion that the 36-year-old will leave next summer, as it has not been made clear that he will not be offered an extension.

However, as things stand, there have been no development on the part of the club.

The current stance seems to be to wait and see regarding the situation of the former Manchester City and Wolfsburg striker, who joined from Roma in the summer of 2021.

Unless there is a change of heart at the Nerazzurri in favour of extending Dzeko’s deal, then he will leave next summer.
