Inter are cautiously optimistic that midfielder Marcelo Brozovic will be fit for their Serie A clash with Juventus on November 6.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 29-year-old’s recovery process is pointing towards a return against the Bianconeri next month, although no risks will be taken.

Brozovic has been recovering methodically from the thigh injury that he sustained during the September international break.

The priority is and has always been ensuring that when the Croat returns he is not only no longer injured but also fit enough to ensure he avoids reinjury, particularly with the World Cup looming.

Accordingly, a bit of time still remains before Brozovic is back in action, but the match against Juventus looks to be in sight for him.

Based on the pace of the 29-year-old’s recovery, the club and the player feel that facing the Bianconeri will be a reasonable target.
