Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini has returned to full training after recovering from a lower back problem.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 28-year-old worked normally with the rest of the squad in yesterday’s training session.

Gagliardini has missed Inter’s past couple matches in Serie A against Salernitana and Fiorentina through a problem to his lower back.

However, the issue was not an overly serious one.

The former Atalanta midfielder had not been able to get fit in time to be called up for the squad for Saturday’s 4-3 Serie A win over Fiorentina.

However, Gagliardini was able to return to full training soon after, working with the rest of the squad who did not play against La Viola yesterday.

Accordingly, the 28-year-old should be ready to be included in the squad to face Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League on Wednesday.
