Italian media report that Inter defender Robin Gosens is set to start in the Nerazzurri’s midweek game in the UEFA Champions League against Viktoria Plzen.

This according to the print edition of today’s Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, as reported via FCInterNews, the German international wingback Robin Gosens is expected to start on Wednesday against Czech side Viktoria Plzen.

The former Atalanta player is expected to beat out teammate Federico Dimarco for the starting left-back against the team that Inter beat 2-0 in the Czech Republic.

Tuttosport also reports that Inter strikers Lautaro Martinez and Edin Dzeko are expected to start alongside each other in order to find the goals to send the Nerazzurri to the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

The report continues to say that Denziel Dumfries is expected to start at right-back against Plzen after being on the bench against Fiorentina.

However, Asllani is slotted to start against Inter legend’s Dejan Stankovic’s Sampdoria on Saturday, October 29 at 20:45 CET at the San Siro.
