Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic could already be called up to the Nerazzurri’s squad for next week’s Champions League group stage match away to Bayern Munich.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the 29-year-old could already be fit enough to be included in the squad on Tuesday.

Brozovic has been out with a thigh strain since the September international break, missing all of the Nerazzurri’s matches since.

A return should not be too long at hand for the Croat, however.

Brozovic will not be in the squad for tomorrow evening’s Champions League group stage clash with Viktoria Plzen, whilst facing Sampdoria in Serie A is also very unlikely.

However, the 29-year-old could well be included in the squad to face the German champions.

The Nerazzurri will be hoping to have Brozovic back for next month’s Serie A matches, particularly those against Juventus and Atalanta.
