Wingbacks Robin Gosens and Denzel Dumfries could start for Inter in tomorrow evening’s Champions League match against Viktoria Plzen.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi is thinking about going with the pair in the starting eleven for the group stage clash.
Neither Dumfries nor Gosens started for Inter in Saturday’s Serie A win over Fiorentina.
Matteo Darmian started on the right and Federico Dimarco on the left in that match, before Dumfries and Gosens respectively replaced them during the second half.
Inzaghi could reshuffle the team in wide areas to face Plzen, however, with the coach seriously considering handing a start to both.
Inter have a massive opportunity to secure qualification for the Champions League round of sixteen if they are to beat the Czech champions tomorrow.
The coach could therefore decide to play a very attacking team to push for the three points early on.
