Both of striker Romelu Lukaku and midfielder Roberto Gagliardini completed a full training session with the rest of the squad today.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the duo are both likely to be included in the squad to face Viktoria Plzen in tomorrow evening’s Champions League group stage match.

Lukaku has been out for almost two months with a thigh strain that he has not been keen to rush back from if not fully fit.

Meanwhile, Gagliardini has missed out on the Nerazzurri’s past two matches through a lower back problem.

Both of the duo have been back in training today, however, where they were able to complete a full training session with the rest of the squad.

Therefore, there is significant optimism that the pair will both be able to be called up to the squad for tomorrow evening’s match, based on how they were able to work in training today.
