Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana feels that there are no limits on what this Nerazzurri can do this season.

Speaking to Amazon Prime after the team’s 4-0 Champions League victory over Viktoria Plzen to reach the knockout stages, the Cameroonian hailed the Nerazzurri’s potential, and also spoke about what the return of Romelu Lukaku means for the team.

Inter could hardly have enjoyed their evening more as they hosted Plzen at the San Siro.

Three points meant that the Nerazzurri have mathematically secured their place in the knockout rounds of the competition from what was widely considered to be the toughest group of the group stage.

Moreover, the return of Lukaku late on in the match, with the Belgian coming off the bench and scoring to wrap up the emphatic victory, only added to the sense of optimism.

“I’m happy about this qualification from a difficult group,” Onana said.

“We’ve shown that we’re a great team,” he continued, “a group that works hard and sacrifices.”

He continued that “I’ve always been optimistic – I respect all my opponents, but I know it’s difficult to beat us.”

“I want to dream, and we can dream, with this team we can win everything.”

Of the return of Lukaku and what it means for Inter, Onana said, “What’s there to say?”

“The fans have shown all their love for him,” he said of the Belgian, “showing how important he is for Inter.”

“I’ve never seen so much love from a team for a single player,” he said of the relationship between Lukaku and Inter.

“And he scored an incredible goal, we’re all happy for him.”
