Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic could already be ready to be called up for this weekend’s Serie A clash with Sampdoria.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 29-year-old could be a surprise inclusion in the squad for Saturday’s match, as his return to fitness is going faster than expected.
Brozovic has now been out for around a month recovering from a thigh strain that he sustained during the September international break.
However, the Croat now looks to be getting closer and closer to a return to the pitch.
Brozovic will still be missing from the squad for this evening’s Champions League group stage match against Viktoria Plzen.
However, it does not appear that it will be too long before the 29-year-old can make his return.
According to Tuttosport, it could be as soon as Saturday’s Serie A clash with the Blucerchiati that Brozovic can be back in the squad.
