Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin believes that at this stage there is virtually no room left for error in Inter’s Serie A title charge.
Speaking to the Twitch channel of Italian news outlet Calciomercato.it, as reported by FCInter1908, Biasin gave the view that the Nerazzurri must keep growing and avoid any more slip-ups given their position in the Serie A table.
Inter have managed three wins on the bounce in the league, which when coupled with their heroics in the Champions League suggest that they are a team who have recovered from their poor early form.
However, the effects of that bad start to the season still remain.
Inter have a big gap to make up on the likes of Napoli, AC Milan, Lazio, Atalanta, and Roma at the top of the league table.
The Nerazzurri can hardly rely on all of those teams to seriously falter, so if their aim is to catch up then they will have to be virtually perfect themselves.
Looking back to Saturday’s win over Fiorentina, Biasin said that “If you concede three goals in a match, you still have some problems.”
“Compared to the abyss of a few weeks ago, everything has changed although there may also be a certain mental fatigue,” he continued.
“Now the disadvantage they’ve given themselves at the start of the season means that they have no room left for error if they want to win the Scudetto.”
