Inter are set to sign young defender Alan Matturro from Uruguayn club Sporting Defensor.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are ready to agree a deal to bring in the 18-year-old in the coming transfer windows, whilst they are also scouting a couple young Argentine prospects.

Matturro has been on the Nerazzurri’s radar for some time, and the young Uruguayan has a release clause in his contract worth €6 million.

Assistant Sporting Director Dario Baccin has been in South America, where scouting Matturro has been one of the main items on his agenda.

Baccin’s reports regarding Matturro have been positive, and Inter are set to sign the 18-year-old in the future.

Meanwhile, Baccin has also been scouting a pair of young Argentine midfielders.

Racing Club’s 19-year-old Carlos Alcaraz and Rosario Central’s 17-year-old Facundo Buonanotte have been two of the main players who Baccin has been watching on his trip to South America.
