Inter are ready to target one of Valencia’s Mouctar Diakhaby, Udinese’s Rodrigo Becao, or Sevilla’s Tanguy Nianzou should contract extension talks with Milan Skriniar not result in an agreement.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri have lined up the trio at the top of their list of possible replacements should they not be able to extend the 27-year-old’s current deal.

Inter’s priority is to agree a contract extension with Skriniar, but they are also prepared for other possibilities.

Contract talks with the Slovakian are set to begin today, and in the background the club are considering their targets if they cannot agree a new deal with him.

Valencia’s Diakhaby will be available on a free transfer next summer and has been on the Nerazzurri’s radar for some time.

Meanwhile, Becao has been impressing with his performances for Udinese over the past couple seasons, and does not look set to stay with the Friulani for too much longer given that his contract runs out at the end of June 2024.

Lastly, Sevilla’s Nianzou, formely of Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, is another player Inter have been monitoring for central defense.
