Former Inter striker Christian Vieri believes the club have overcome their poor form and have hit their stride now, whilst praising the wealth of attacking options.

The Nerazzurri suffered a downturn in fortunes as they won just three of eight games in all competitions in September and October, but have now won four of their last five matches.

Speaking on his own Twitch channel, Bobo TV, earlier today, and as reported by FCInter1908.it, the former Juventus and Lazio striker argued that Simone Inzaghi’s side had rediscovered their form again after securing qualification from the Champions League group stage with a win over Viktoria Plzen.

“Inter played well and they recovered in a great way, reaching the knockout stages from a group with Bayern Munich and Barcelona is a big thing,” Vieri announced.

The Italian international was full of praise for the various attackers at Inzaghi’s disposal, including the returning Romelu Lukaku after he netted against Plzen on his comeback from injury.

“Now Inter are fine, Lukaku’s goal was great. Great build-up, great goal, great pass from Correa.

“Inter are doing well, they need goals from Lukaku, and (Edin) Dzeko, despite being 37 years old, is a gift from God.

“Lautaro (Martinez) is devastating. (Wing-back Federico) Dimarco has a spectacular left foot,” he added.

Inter look to continue their good form when they welcome Sampdoria in Serie A this evening, before a Champions League clash against Bayern Munich and the Derby d’Italia against Juventus in the coming week.
