Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic will not be included in the squad to face Sampdoria this evening, but could be ready for Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 29-year-old is still getting fit from his thigh injury, but may be fit enough to be called up for the Nerazzurri’s trip to Germany to face Bayern.

Brozovic is getting close to returning from the thigh strain that he picked up during the September international break.

However, despite having been reportedly considered as a possibility to be included in the squad for this evening’s Serie A match against Sampdoria, he will not be in the squad to face the Ligurians.

Nevertheless, Brozovic should not be out for much longer.

The Croat will make his return to the squad in one of the Nerazzurri’s next couple matches, and could already be fit to be in the squad for Tuesday’s match against Bayern.
