Inter have rediscovered the joy in their football again after a period of good form, but must be wary of some tough challenges before the World Cup break, Italian media warn.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri showed a sense of fun as they easily beat Sampdoria 3-0 in Serie A yesterday, taking their winning streak in the league to four games.

It made thoughts of a dismal start to the season nothing more than a distant memory, as Simone Inzaghi’s side enjoyed a return to form since the most recent international break.

Indeed, the last league defeat came against Roma on 1 October, and the loss against the Giallorossi prompted Inzaghi to challenge his team to show their true worth.

Despite impressive displays since then, the newspaper warned that questions remain over whether Inter can sustain their form before the start of the World Cup break.

The Nerazzurri face Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday before the Derby d’Italia against Juventus next weekend.

Inter must also take on Atalanta on 13 November, in a series of games considered the true test of their recovery.
