Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has earned the plaudits after leading his team to a 3-0 win over Sampdoria in Serie A on Saturday evening.

As reported by L’Interista.it, the former Lazio coach received a positive appraisal from Italy’s main newspaper outlets following the match at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, in which goals from Stefan De Vrij, Nicolo Barella, and Joaquin Correa gave the Nerazzurri a fourth successive league win.

La Gazzetta dello Sport argued that Inzaghi had been in complete control throughout the match and awarded him a 7 in their ratings, whilst Tuttosport awarded him the same score but focused on the defensive stability Inter had shown in the victory over the Blucerchiati.

Similarly, Inzaghi earned a 7 rating from Corriere dello Sport and Tuttomercatoweb, but L’Interista themselves were less generous, and rated his performance at 6.5.

Inter are looking to maintain their winning run in Serie A and turn their domestic attention to the Derby d’Italia next Sunday, as they face Juventus at the Allianz Stadium.
