Inter defender Stefan de Vrij is set to change agent to Federico Pastorello who will discuss the possibility of a new contract with the Nerazzurri.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that with Rafaela Pimenta expiring as his agent, de Vrij will appoint Pastorello.
De Vrij had been represented by Mino Raiola prior to the agent’s passing, whilst his representation was then taken over by Pimenta.
However, the 30-year-old will change representation now that the period with Pimenta is expiring.
De Vrij is open to extending his current contract with the Nerazzurri, which as it stands expires at the end of June 2023.
Accordingly, Pastorello is set to begin discussions with Inter during the World Cup break regarding the possibility of agreeing a new deal for the Dutchman.
Inter would be ready to offer de Vrij a new deal until the end of June 2024 or 2025 on around the same wages that the former Lazio and Feyenoord defender currently earns.
