Bayer Leverkusen are set to make another move for Inter wingback Robin Gosens during the January transfer window.

This according to German broadcaster Sky Sports Deutschland, who report that the 28-year-old is seen as a major target for the Bundesliga team to reinforce during the January window.

Leverkusen had already been linked with a move for Gosens during the summer transfer window, but failed to get a deal agreed with Inter before the window slammed shut.

However, the Germans’ interest in Gosens has not diminished.

Leverkusen are aiming to strengthen during the January window after a disappointing start to the current campaign.

Gosens is seen as an ideal candidate to reinforce the left side of coach Xabi Alonso’s 3-4-3 system, with neither Daley Sinkgraven nor Mitchell Bakker fully convincing.

Leverkusen would be ready to make a move for the German during the January window, although it remains to be seen if the Nerazzurri will be receptive to selling him.
