Either Henrikh Mkhitaryan or Valentin Carboni could start in attack for Inter in this evening’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the pair are options from the start or from the bench in the Nerazzurri’s short-handed attack.

Inter will be without Romelu Lukaku in this evening’s match through injury.

Meanwhile, coach Simone Inzaghi could decide not to risk Lautaro Martinez who is one booking away from suspension, and Edin Dzeko is with the squad but did not train yesterday due to a knock.

Accordingly, Mkhitaryan or Carboni could be options to play in attack alongside Joaquin Carboni, lining up as attacking midfielders.

Meanwhile, the Corriere anticipates that Kristjan Asllani will get a start in midfield.

The Corriere’s complete predicted starting eleven for the clash is as follows:

Inter (3-5-2): Onana; Skriniar, De Vrij, Acerbi; Darmian, Barella, Asllani, Mkhitaryan, Gosens; Correa, Lautaro.
