Inter forward Joaquin Correa feels that this evening’s Champions League match against Bayern Munich will be a chance to prove what they are worth.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia ahead of the group stage clash, Correa also expressed confidence in terms of his own personal form.

Inter will face Bayern in a match which cannot mathematically have any effect on the final outcome of the group.

However, this evening’s match will still be an opportunity for the team to continue to build momentum heading into the rest of the season.

Moreover, the players who are trusted by coach Simone Inzaghi will have the chance to prove themselves, and prove that they are worthy of representing this team.

Correa is anticipating that the team, and that he personally, will still have plenty to play for to show what they are made of against the German champions in their final group stage match of the season.

“We want to have a great match, and show that we’re Inter and we want to win,” the Argentine said.

“The squad is deep, we can’t all play all the time, so today it is important to show that every one of us is doing well and can give something to the team.”

Correa continued of his own form that “Personally, I’m confident, since the beginning of the season I’ve been focused on giving my best, and I feel the desire to play.”

“Sometimes you play well, others not so much, but it’s a long season and you have to stay on track so that you can give your best.”
