Midfielder Kristjan Asllani has no intention of leaving Inter in the near future and has the total backing of the club.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that, in spite of rumours of the 20-year-old seeking a move away in search of more playing time, he is happy to stay at the Nerazzurri.

Asllani has not had much of a role in Inter’s starting eleven since joining from Empoli during the summer transfer window.

The Albanian has made two starts for the Nerazzurri, against the likes of Roma and Sassuolo in Serie A, and has made some appearances from the bench.

Rumours emerged that Asllani could look for a move to a new club in search of more playing time, possibly on loan and possibly as early as the January transfer window.

However, according to the Gazzetta, this is not actually the case.

Asllani remains happy to stay at Inter, whilst he continues to have the full faith of all of the coaching and technical staff at the club.

The 20-year-old is backed to gradually grow into a more prominent role in the team over time.
