Wingbacks Robin Gosens and Raoul Bellanova are both set to start for Inter in this evening’s Champions League match against Bayern Munich.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the duo will be part of a heavily rotated lineup which could also include young attacking midfielder Valentin Carboni.
Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will be looking to get the balance right between playing a strong team to face Bayern and also not taking too many risks with fitness in view of the Nerazzurri’s Serie A match against Juventus on Sunday.
Moreover, the coach could see the match as an opportunity to reward the work in training of some players who do not start regularly with opportunities to prove themselves.
On the flanks, Gosens and Bellanova are set to start on the left and right respectively, in place of Federico Dimarco and Denzel Dimarco.
Meanwhile, Matteo Darmian could line up in the back three rather than on the wing.
