Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana feels that the Nerazzurri have what it takes to have a very memorable season in all the competitions they are in.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia after the team’s Champions League loss to Bayern Munich, the Cameroonian expressed pride and confidence in this team and the belief that they can fight for trophies.

Inter lost to Bayern in Munich by a 2-0 scoreline as they had done in Milan a couple of months ago.

However, the feeling was that it was in some respects a very different Nerazzurri team and performance than the one that had come out against Bayern at the San Siro.

Even with a significantly rotated eleven played in the match, Inter played a compact game and looked like a team with plenty of hunger as well as concentration and organization on the pitch.

Onana gave his thoughts on the team, stating that “I think I improve every day by playing with these guys, players of the highest quality.”

“I learn more every day,” he continued, “it’s a new system, but I’m calm because I know that things can work out well with this team.”

“The idea of this great club is always to win, both in the Champions League and in the league,” he said.

“We have a deep squad and we’re aiming to win everything,” the 26-year-old added.

“Playing in this shirt is a source of pride, we want to win because we’re Inter.”
