Inter and AC Milan have both earned a total of €57.6 million from participation in the Champions League so far this season.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the two Milan clubs have both earned this amount after securing qualification for the knockout rounds.
Inter and Milan have both reached the Champions League round of sixteen from second spot in their group.
This means that, in addition to receiving payments from UEFA for participation in the group stage, both clubs are set to receive additional payment for participation in the knockouts.
The Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri have each earned €57.6 million so far, whilst Napoli have brought in €62.5 million due to qualifying top spot in their group.
Meanwhile, Juventus have earned €53.6 million between their participation in the group stage and then in the next round of the Europa League, having dropped down from third spot in their group.
