Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is back in training ahead of Sunday’s Serie A match against Juventus.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Croat completed most of a normal training session with his teammates and is expected to be in the squad to face the Bianconeri.

Brozovic has been out with a thigh strain since September 25 during the international break, but now he is all but recovered.

The 29-year-old was able to make his return to full training rather than working individually on his recovery today.

Brozovic trained normally with his teammates, and whilst he did not quite complete the full session, things look very optimistic in view of this weekend’s Serie A match against Juventus.

Unless there are any setbacks over the next few training sessions, Brozovic should be called up to the squad for Sunday’s match.

The 29-year-old would only be included on the bench for the start of the match, although he could come on as a substitute with the match in progress.
