Inter will consider the futures of striker Edin Dzeko, wingback Matteo Darmian, and defender Danilo D’Ambrosio during the new year based on their performances.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Nerazzurri’s plan is to begin possible contract talks with the trio at some point during 2023 based on their performances on the pitch.

Dzeko’s contract expires at the end of June 2023, but the Bosnian has shown no signs of slowing down as an important player for the Nerazzurri.

Meanwhile, Darmian has also proven to be a versatile and reliable option in the team, whilst D’Ambrosio remains influential behind the scenes if not necessarily as much so on the pitch as the other two.

The club are not in any hurry to decide on the futures of any of the trio.

However, the talks regarding potential contract extensions for them should come sometime in the spring of 2023.
