Inter are set to hold another meeting today or tomorrow with the agent of defender Milan Skriniar for further contract extension talks.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri will not waste any time in meeting with the 27-year-old’s representatives again as they seek to wrap up an agreement on a new deal very soon.

Inter held the initial round of contract talks with Skriniar’s representatives last week, although the contacts have also been ongoing since then.

Another formal meeting is set to take place soon, in which case the club can discuss the details of an agreement with the Slovakian international’s agent.

Inter want to get Skriniar’s future secured sooner rather than later so that they can decisively ward off the interest of Paris Saint-Germain in signing him in January or next summer on a free transfer.

Accordingly, the club will hope that this next meeting can get them even closer to agreeing a new contract with the defender.
