Paris Saint-Germain have turned their attention to AC Milan defender Pierre Kalulu as a target if they are unable to sign Milan Skriniar from Inter.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the French champions are thinking about alternate possibilities to Skriniar given that the Slovakian looks to be getting close to agreeing a new deal with the Nerazzurri.

PSG have not lost hope of signing Skriniar despite failing to do so during the summer transfer window.

However, should the 27-year-old extend his contract with Inter it would be a major blow to the Parisians’ plans to either sign him in January or on a free transfer in the summer.

Accordingly, PSG are considering other possibilities to reinforce their defense.

The Parisians may decide to look across the city divide to Inter’s rivals Milan, as young French defender Kalulu is a player on their radar.

Should Skriniar extend his deal with Inter, then the Parisians would consider making a move to sign Kalulu from the Rossoneri instead.
